Continue on C48 until you reach the junction with the C45 road. Turn left onto the C45 road and drive for about 50 km. Look for signs directing you to Khaudum National Park. Sikereti Camp is located within the park, so ensure you have your park entry fees ready, which are approximately N$ 50 per person. Follow the park roads until you reach Sikereti Camp, which is well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Sikereti Camp via public transport, take a bus from Rundu to Katima Mulilo. Buses are available regularly and cost around N$ 100. Once you reach Katima Mulilo, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to Khaudum National Park. Ensure you negotiate the fare in advance; it may cost around N$ 300 to N$ 400 for the taxi, depending on the number of passengers. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Sikereti Camp. Note that public transport to remote areas may be infrequent, so plan accordingly.
4x4 Rental
Given the nature of the roads in Khaudum National Park, renting a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended. You can rent a 4x4 in Rundu or Katima Mulilo.
