Bus
To reach Namo Buddha View Point from Kathmandu, start by heading to the Ratna Park Bus Station. Look for a bus heading towards Panauti or Dhulikhel; these buses are frequent and take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you board the bus, ensure you inform the conductor that you want to get off at Namo Buddha. The bus will take you through the scenic countryside, and the conductor will signal you when it's time to disembark. After getting off at the designated stop, follow the signs leading to Namo Buddha, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill.

Trekking
For a more adventurous approach, you can trek to Namo Buddha from Kathmandu. Begin at the outskirts of the city, making your way to the village of Banepa, which is approximately 20 km from the city center. You can take a local bus or walk to Banepa. From Banepa, follow the trail towards Namo Buddha, which is about a 2 to 3-hour hike through lush fields and small villages. The trail is well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions if needed. The final stretch leads you up to the viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

If you're up for a cycling adventure, rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu. Head towards Bhaktapur and then continue on to Banepa. The ride is about 20-25 km and takes roughly 1.5-2 hours, depending on your fitness level. From Banepa, you'll need to cycle or walk the remaining 8 km to Namo Buddha, which is a bit hilly but very scenic. Ensure you stay hydrated and take breaks as needed.
