To get to Washington Mews, start by locating the nearest subway station. If you are near Union Square, take the N, Q, R, or W train from Union Square station, heading downtown. Get off at the 8th Street - NYU station. Once you exit the station, walk south on 4th Avenue for about 2 blocks until you reach Washington Square Park. From there, head east on Washington Square South. You will see the entrance to Washington Mews shortly on your left.

If you prefer to take the bus, find the nearest bus stop for the MTA. Take the M20 or M2 bus heading towards downtown. Get off at the stop on 8th Street and 5th Avenue. From the bus stop, walk east on 8th Street until you reach Washington Square Park. Walk through the park towards Washington Square South, and you will find the entrance to Washington Mews on your left.

If you are already in the vicinity of Washington Square Park, simply walk towards the park. Once you arrive at the park, enter from the southern side and walk straight across to the northern side. Washington Mews is located just off the park, on the east side. You can find the entrance near the park's fountain.
