Once at Battery Park, head to the Statue Cruises ticket office located near the entrance to the park. Tickets for the ferry cost around $24 for adults and $12 for children (ages 4-12). It's recommended to purchase your tickets in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons. After purchasing your tickets, proceed to the boarding area for the ferry. The ferry ride to Liberty Island takes about 15-20 minutes, and you can enjoy beautiful views of the harbor and the skyline.

Ferry from Liberty State Park (New Jersey)
Alternatively, if you are closer to New Jersey, you can visit the Statue of Liberty from Liberty State Park. This park is located at 1 Audrey Zapp Dr, Jersey City, NJ 07305. From New York City, you can take the PATH train to Exchange Place or World Trade Center stations and then transfer to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to reach the park. The ferry tickets are the same price as from Battery Park. After arriving at Liberty State Park, purchase your tickets from the Statue Cruises ticket booth and board the ferry to Liberty Island.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the subway to Battery Park. The nearest subway stations are Bowling Green (R/W lines) and Wall Street (2/4/5 lines). From Bowling Green, walk a few minutes to reach Battery Park. For those coming from Midtown Manhattan, you can take the 1 train from Times Square-42nd Street station directly to the South Ferry station, which is also a short walk to Battery Park.
