    From Yonkers, head to the nearest bus stop that serves the Bee-Line Bus System. You can take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. The bus will take you through Bronx and into Manhattan. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at 5th Avenue & West 10th Street. The Church of the Ascension will be right in front of you.

  • Train

    Take the Metro-North Railroad from Yonkers Station towards Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the subway. Take the 6 train from Grand Central to Astor Place. From Astor Place, transfer to the L train towards 14th Street - 6th Avenue. Get off at 6th Avenue, and walk north on 6th Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach West 10th Street. The Church of the Ascension will be on your left at the intersection with 5th Avenue.

    If you're already in downtown Yonkers, you can walk to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. From there, take the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, you can walk to the church. Head southwest on 42nd Street towards Park Avenue, then turn left onto Park Avenue and walk until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue and continue until you reach West 10th Street. The Church of the Ascension will be on your right.
