    From Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad Station. Board a train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 125th Street Station. At 125th Street, transfer to the A subway line towards Far Rockaway. Travel for 6 stops and get off at the 42nd Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to the E subway line towards World Trade Center, and travel 4 stops before getting off at Court Square. Finally, transfer to the 7 subway line towards Flushing and ride 1 stop to the 45th Road - Courthouse Square station. Once you exit the station, walk east on 47th Road for about 5 minutes until you reach Gantry Plaza State Park.

    Start at the Yonkers Transit Hub and catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 heading towards Mount Vernon. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop for the Metro-North Railroad Station. From there, take the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, walk to the nearby subway entrance and take the 7 subway line towards Flushing. Disembark at the 45th Road - Courthouse Square station. Walk east along 47th Road for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Gantry Plaza State Park.
