Public Transportation
Begin your journey at the Yonkers Metro-North train station, located at 1 Main Street, Yonkers, NY. Purchase a ticket to the St. George station on Staten Island. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at the St. George station, follow the signs to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Take the free Staten Island Ferry to reach Staten Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 25 minutes and offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. After disembarking at the Staten Island terminal, look for the bus stop nearby. Take the S40 bus towards the Richmond Terrace route. You will want to get off at the stop for Fillmore Street. From there, walk towards Richmond Terrace, and you will see the Staten Island Children's Museum located at 1000 Richmond Terrace, Building M. Enter via the Fillmore St. Gate.

If you are already on Staten Island, make your way to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. From the terminal, head towards Richmond Terrace. It is about a 15-minute walk. Walk along the waterfront, enjoying the view, until you reach the intersection with Fillmore Street. Turn left onto Fillmore Street, and continue walking until you see the entrance to the Staten Island Children's Museum at 1000 Richmond Terrace, Building M. Make sure to enter via the Fillmore St. Gate.
