If you're traveling by car from Tauranga, take State Highway 2 south towards Te Puke. Continue on State Highway 2 until you reach the intersection with State Highway 33. Follow State Highway 33, which will lead you towards the Rotorua region. From Rotorua, take State Highway 30 west. This will take you through some beautiful rural landscapes. Once you reach the junction with State Highway 1, turn south towards Motupipi. Continue into Motupipi and follow the signs for Rawhiti Cave Track. The car park for the cave is located at the trailhead. Please note that parking is free.
