From Abel Tasman National Park, take State Highway 60 south towards Takaka. Continue on this road for approximately 40 minutes (about 45 kilometers). As you approach Takaka, follow the signs directing you to the town center. Once in the town, turn left onto Commercial Street. The Art Vault will be located at 57 Commercial Street, on your left. Look for the building's signage.

To reach The Art Vault Takaka using public transportation, start from any location within Abel Tasman National Park. You will need to take a bus to Takaka. The Nelson to Takaka bus service is available and operates several times a day. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Takaka, disembark at the main bus stop. Walk down Commercial Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. The Art Vault will be located at 57 Commercial Street on your left. Check the bus schedules in advance for availability and fares.
