Walking
From the Gisborne city center, head east along Gladstone Road toward the intersection with The Esplanade. Continue straight onto The Esplanade, which runs along the waterfront. Follow The Esplanade until you reach the intersection with Kaiti Beach Road. Turn left onto Kaiti Beach Road and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with Inner Kaiti Road. Turn right onto Inner Kaiti Road. Scenic Reserve will be located on your left-hand side, just a short walk further.

Public Transport
From Gisborne city center, you can take the local bus service toward Kaiti. Board the bus that is heading towards 'Kaiti' and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Inner Kaiti Road. Once you disembark, walk down Inner Kaiti Road towards the Scenic Reserve. It should be a short walk from the bus stop, and you will see the entrance to the reserve on your left.
