Walking
If you are starting from the Masterton town center, head south on Queen Street towards the intersection with Chapel Street. Continue straight onto Lincoln Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with State Highway 2. Cross the highway and head to the bus stop located nearby. From here, catch the 'Palmerston North' bus, which will take you towards Ōtaki. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand for timings. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Ōtaki stop. Once you arrive, walk towards Te Rauparaha Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow Te Rauparaha Street until you reach Rangiatea Church located at 33 Te Rauparaha Street.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Masterton. Start your journey by cycling south on Queen Street. Continue on Lincoln Road, and after about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto State Highway 2. Stay on the highway for about 10 kilometers until you reach Ōtaki. Once in Ōtaki, look for Te Rauparaha Street, which you will follow until you arrive at Rangiatea Church. The ride should take around 40-50 minutes depending on your pace.
