    Start from the Masterton Town Centre. Head south on Queen Street towards Park Avenue. Continue straight onto Lincoln Road until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and walk until you reach the Masterton Railway Station, located at the end of Church Street. From the station, take a train towards Upper Hutt. Once you arrive at Upper Hutt Station, exit the station and head southeast on Main Street towards the intersection with Fergusson Drive. Cross the road and catch the bus (Route 110) heading towards Kaitoke. Get off the bus at the Kaitoke Park stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes to The Weir, following the signs to Kaitoke Regional Park.

    Begin at the Masterton Town Centre and head south on Queen Street. Continue onto Lincoln Road until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street, which will take you directly to the Masterton Railway Station. From the station, board a train towards Upper Hutt. After arriving at Upper Hutt Station, exit and continue southeast on Main Street towards Fergusson Drive. Here, you can rent a bike or use your own to cycle to Kaitoke. Follow the cycle paths along Main Street and Fergusson Drive, then join the bike trail that leads to Kaitoke Regional Park. The Weir is located within the park, a short ride from the entrance.
