    From Paihia, head to the Paihia Wharf, which is located near the center of town. Look for the signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Russell. The ferry ride usually takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Russell, disembark and head up the main road until you reach the intersection with Du Fresne Place. Turn left onto Du Fresne Place and continue walking until you reach Tapeka Point Track, which will be on your left.

    If you're up for a longer walk, you can take the coastal path from Paihia to Russell. Starting at the Paihia beachfront, follow the path along the coast towards Russell. The walk is approximately 2.5 km and will take you about 30-40 minutes. As you approach Russell, you'll come to the main road. Turn left at the main road and then turn left onto Du Fresne Place. Continue straight until you reach Tapeka Point Track.

  • Bus

    From Paihia, you can take a local bus to Russell. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Marsden Road near the Paihia Library. Board the bus heading towards Russell. The bus ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive in Russell, head up the main road until you reach the intersection with Du Fresne Place. Turn left onto Du Fresne Place and walk straight until you reach Tapeka Point Track on your left.
