    If you are starting from the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1167 Fenton Street, head south on Fenton Street towards Pukuatua Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tutanekai Street. Turn left onto Tutanekai Street and walk straight until you reach the end. Turn right onto Hinemoa Street, and then left onto Tarawera Road. Follow Tarawera Road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you'll see the entrance to the Redwoods Treewalk on your left at 1 Long Mile Road. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Public Transport

    To reach the Redwoods Treewalk using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre. Catch the 'Rotorua Hop On Hop Off' bus service, which has a stop near the Redwoods. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Redwoods Treewalk stop. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the treewalk entrance located at 1 Long Mile Road.

The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
