If you are in the central Rotorua area, start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1170 Fenton Street. From the i-SITE, head south on Fenton Street, then turn left onto Hinemoa Street. Continue on Hinemoa Street until you reach the intersection with Arawa Street. Turn right onto Arawa Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Tutanekai Street. Turn left onto Tutanekai Street and follow it until it becomes Pukuatua Street. After a few blocks, you will reach the intersection with Tryon Street. Turn right onto Tryon Street, and Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village will be located at 17 Tryon Street, just a short walk down the street. The total walk should take about 30 minutes.
