Walking
From the central Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1167 Fenton Street, head south on Fenton Street towards Victoria Street. Turn right onto Victoria Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Tryon Street. Turn left onto Tryon Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at 17 Tryon Street, where you will find Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village.

Public Transport (Bus)
Catch the Rotorua public bus service from the central bus stop near the i-SITE Visitor Centre. Look for the bus heading towards Whakarewarewa. The bus will take you along Fenton Street and directly to the village. The stop you need is close to the entrance of Whakarewarewa, which is located at 17 Tryon Street. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Rotorua. Start at the rental shop and head south on Fenton Street. Take a right turn onto Victoria Street, then a left onto Tryon Street. Follow Tryon Street for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village at 17 Tryon Street. There are bike racks available for parking at the village.
