Drive north on State Highway 1 (SH1) and turn onto State Highway 47 (SH47) towards National Park Village. Continue on SH47 until you reach the junction for Mangatepopo Road. Turn left onto Mangatepopo Road and follow it for about 13 kilometers until you reach the Mangatepopo car park. From there, the hut is a short 30-minute walk along the well-marked track.
