Walking
Start in the center of Wanaka at the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre located on Ardmore Street. From there, head south towards the lakefront by walking down Ardmore Street until you reach the lake. Once you reach the lake, turn left onto the lakeside path which runs along the edge of Lake Wānaka. Continue walking along this scenic path for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the Wanaka Wharf. The wharf is a popular departure point for boat services to Ruby Island.
