From the center of Mount Victoria, head towards the main road, Elizabeth Street. Walk downhill until you reach the intersection with Majoribanks Street. Turn right onto Majoribanks Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Glenmore Street. Turn left onto Glenmore Street. Continue walking up Glenmore Street, and you will find the entrance to Wellington Botanic Garden on your right. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop located on Majoribanks Street near the intersection with Elizabeth Street. You can catch the 'Z' bus route towards Kelburn. Pay attention to the bus schedules, as they may vary. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Glenmore Street. The ride will take about 10 minutes. After getting off, you will need to walk a short distance down Glenmore Street to the entrance of Wellington Botanic Garden.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Mount Victoria to Wellington Botanic Garden. Start by heading down to Elizabeth Street, then turn onto Majoribanks Street. Follow Majoribanks Street until you reach Glenmore Street and turn left. The garden entrance will be on your right. The cycling route is approximately 2 km and should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
