If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach Avalon Park is by taking State Highway 1 (SH1). From Greymouth, head southeast on SH6 towards Hokitika, then merge onto SH1 at the junction. Follow SH1 for approximately 2 hours until you reach Lower Hutt. Once in Lower Hutt, take the exit for Taita Drive and head east. Continue on Taita Drive for about 1 km, and Avalon Park will be on your left at 61 Taita Drive.

Walk east along Taita Drive for about 10 minutes to reach Avalon Park at 61 Taita Drive.
