Getting There

  • Car

    From Bryggen, head southwest on Bryggen towards Rasmus Meyers allé. Turn right onto Rasmus Meyers allé, then continue straight to follow the road as it becomes Vågsallmenningen. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto Skutevikstorget. The entrance to Sverresborg festning will be on your left. There is usually street parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Bryggen, walk to the nearest bus stop at Strandkaiterminalen (approximately a 5-minute walk). Catch Bus 3 towards Lagunen, and get off at the stop called 'Skutevikstorget'. From there, it's a short walk to Sverresborg festning, which is located at Skutevikstorget 1. The bus fare will be around 38 NOK for a single journey.

    If you prefer to walk, exit Bryggen and head towards the waterfront. Continue along the promenade until you reach Strandgaten. Turn left onto Strandgaten and continue straight for about 1.5 km.
