Car
If you are driving from Portland, take I-84 E (Eastbound) towards The Dalles. After about 20 miles, take exit 18 for Corbett. At the stop sign, turn left onto Historic Columbia River Hwy. Continue on this road for about 1 mile, and you will find the Historic Columbia River Hwy at 42448. There is ample parking available.

To reach the Historic Columbia River Hwy via public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail Blue Line from downtown Portland towards Hillsboro. Get off at the Gateway Transit Center and transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates seasonally. The bus will take you directly to various points along the Columbia River Gorge, including a stop near the Historic Columbia River Hwy. Be sure to check the schedules ahead of time, as they vary by season.
