Car
From any location in Linn County, head north on I-5 toward Portland. Merge onto US-26 E toward Mount Hood. Continue on US-26 E for approximately 60 miles. Take the exit for OR-35 N toward Hood River. After about 2 miles, take a slight right onto E Lolo Pass Rd. Drive for another 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Little Zigzag Falls Trailhead parking lot. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of any seasonal road conditions that may affect access.
Public Transportation
From Albany, take the Linn-Benton Loop transit bus to the nearest connecting bus route that goes to Portland. Once in Portland, transfer to the MAX Light Rail at the Gateway Transit Center toward the Blue Line. Get off at the Gresham City Hall station and board a bus heading toward Mount Hood. The closest bus stop to Little Zigzag Falls is at the US-26 E and Little Zigzag Falls Trailhead. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the falls. Be aware of the bus schedule and plan accordingly, as services may not be frequent.
