    From any location in Linn County, head towards Lyons, OR. If you are at I-5, take exit 228 for OR-22 E toward Stayton. Follow OR-22 E for approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto N Fork Rd and continue for about 4 miles until you reach the Opal Creek Wilderness parking area at 22985 N Fork Rd, Lyons, OR 97358. Note that this road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

    Public Transportation

    While there isn't direct public transportation to Opal Creek Wilderness, you can take a bus to Stayton from Albany or Salem. Once in Stayton, you can use a rideshare service or taxi to reach Lyons, OR. From Lyons, you will still need to drive or arrange for a taxi to get to the Opal Creek Wilderness parking area at 22985 N Fork Rd, which is about 9 miles from Stayton.
