Car
If you are driving from the Mount Hood area, take US-26 E towards Government Camp. Continue on US-26 E for approximately 32 miles. Merge onto I-84 E towards The Dalles. Drive for about 12 miles and take exit 44 towards Cascade Locks/Portage Road. Turn left onto SW Portage Road. The Sternwheeler Columbia Gorge will be located on your right at 299 SW Portage Rd, Cascade Locks, OR 97014.

To reach the Sternwheeler Columbia Gorge via public transport, you can take the Mount Hood Express bus from the Mount Hood area to Hood River. From Hood River, transfer to the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus line that heads towards Cascade Locks. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the Portage Road stop. Walk approximately 5 minutes down SW Portage Road, and you will find the Sternwheeler Columbia Gorge at 299 SW Portage Rd, Cascade Locks, OR 97014.
