Car
If you are starting from Hood River, OR, take the I-84 W highway. After about 20 minutes, take exit 44 for WA-14 W towards Stevenson. Continue on WA-14 for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Stevenson, keep an eye out for the sign indicating the Bridge of the Gods. Once you see the bridge, look for parking options along the road, as there is ample parking available near the historical marker.

To reach the Bridge of the Gods from Portland, OR, you can take the Columbia Gorge Express bus service, which operates daily. Board the bus at the Portland Gateway Transit Center and enjoy the scenic ride to Hood River. Once in Hood River, transfer to the local bus service (Hood River to Stevenson) or arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you directly to the Bridge of the Gods. The total fare for the Columbia Gorge Express is about $10 one-way.

For those already in Stevenson, you can easily walk or bike to the Bridge of the Gods. Start at the Stevenson city center and head towards the riverfront. Follow the paved path along the Columbia River until you reach the entrance to the bridge. This is a scenic route and a great way to enjoy the beautiful views of the gorge. It’s approximately a 1-mile walk or bike ride from downtown Stevenson to the bridge.
