Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Cascade Locks from any point in the Columbia River Gorge. For those coming from Portland, take I-84 eastbound. Exit at Cascade Locks (Exit 44). After exiting, turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway (also known as the Historic Columbia River Highway). Follow this road for about 1 mile, where you'll see signs for the Bridge of the Gods Trailhead on your right. The parking lot is available for visitors, and it's free of charge.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, the Columbia Gorge Express offers bus service from Portland to Cascade Locks. Board the Columbia Gorge Express at the Gateway Transit Center in Portland. The trip takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Cascade Locks stop, the trailhead is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Cascade Locks Highway for about 0.7 miles; you'll see the entrance to the Bridge of the Gods Trailhead. Note that bus fare is required, so be prepared to pay the fare upon boarding.
