If you are driving from downtown Portland, take I-84 E towards The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for about 20 miles. Take exit 22 for Corbett and turn left onto Historic Columbia River Highway. Follow the highway for approximately 5 miles, and you will see Vista House at Crown Point on your right. There is free parking available at the site.

To reach Vista House using public transportation, first take the MAX light rail Blue Line from any downtown Portland station towards Hillsboro. Transfer at the Gateway Transit Center to the Columbia Gorge Express bus (Route 400) towards Multnomah Falls. The bus will take you along the scenic Historic Columbia River Highway. Get off at the Vista House stop. The bus fare is approximately $5 one way, and you should check the schedule ahead of time as service may vary.
