Getting There

Bus
From the main square in Cusco (Plaza de Armas), walk to the nearby bus terminal located at Avenida de la Cultura. Look for a bus that is heading towards 'Tipón' or 'Sayhuite'. The fare is usually around 2-3 soles. The bus will take you towards the outskirts of Cusco. Keep an eye on the surroundings, and after approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the town of Tipón. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the archaeological park.

Collectivo
At Plaza de Armas, find a collectivo (shared taxi) stand. Look for a collectivo heading to 'Tipón'. The collectivos leave when they are full, so you might have to wait a few minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tipón, the drop-off point should be near the entrance of the Archaeological Park. Be sure to communicate your destination to the driver.

Walking and Hiking
If you are adventurous and prefer to hike, you can walk from Cusco to Tipón. Start your journey from Plaza de Armas and head southeast towards Avenida de la Cultura. Follow the road signs leading to Tipón. This route is about 21 km and takes approximately 5-6 hours of walking, so be prepared with water and snacks. The path is scenic, offering views of the surrounding landscapes. You will eventually reach the archaeological park entrance, which is well marked.
