Getting There

Walking
From the main square in Cusco (Plaza de Armas), head south on Avenida El Sol. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue walking until you reach the bus station Terminal Terrestre. From there, catch a bus heading towards Oropesa. The bus fare is usually around 2-3 soles. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Oropesa, ask the driver to drop you off near Plaza Mayor de Oropesa. After getting off the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the plaza.

Start at Plaza de Armas in Cusco. Walk to the nearby Terminal Terrestre on Avenida 28 de Julio. Look for buses that display 'Oropesa' or 'Oropesa - Abancay' on their fronts. Buses to Oropesa run frequently, so you should not have to wait long. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Oropesa, disembark at the main bus stop, and you will be just a short 5-minute walk from Plaza Mayor de Oropesa. Follow the main street until you see the plaza.
