If you are starting from the city center, head to the nearest metro station, 'Aliados'. Take the metro line D (Yellow Line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Campo 24 de Agosto' station. Once you exit the station, walk straight down Rua de Santa Catarina until you reach the intersection with Rua da Alegria. Turn right onto Rua da Alegria, and continue walking until you reach number 859 on your left. This is AL859 Art Space, located near a small square.

From the central bus terminal, you can take bus number 303 towards 'Estação de São Bento'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Rua da Alegria' stop. Once you disembark, walk back along Rua da Alegria for about 5 minutes, and you will find AL859 Art Space at number 859, on your right.

If you are near the iconic Livraria Lello bookstore, you can walk to AL859 Art Space. Head down Rua das Carmelitas and then turn left onto Rua da Alegria. Walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass several small shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for number 859 on your right; AL859 Art Space will be located here.
