Once you arrive at Guimarães train station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the historic center of Guimarães. The Palace Duques de Bragança is located at R. Conde Dom Henrique 3, which you can find by following the signs towards the castle.

    Go to the Campo 24 de Agosto bus terminal in Porto. Look for the bus line that goes to Guimarães. The journey takes about 1 hour and buses usually depart every hour. After arriving at Guimarães bus station, walk towards the center along Avenida da Liberdade for approximately 15 minutes. The Palace Duques de Bragança will be on your left at R. Conde Dom Henrique 3.
