If you are starting from the center of Viana do Castelo, head towards the Praça da República. From the square, take Rua da Oliveira heading northwest. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Cross the avenue and continue along Rua de São Sebastião. Follow this road until it leads you to the footpath that ascends to the Miradouro de Santa Luzia. The path will gradually incline, and you will see signs indicating the direction to the viewpoint.

Begin at the Viana do Castelo train station. Take bus number 12 from the station towards Santa Luzia. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the hiking path. From there, follow the signs to Miradouro de Santa Luzia. The walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint is approximately 15 minutes, taking you along a well-marked trail.

If you are renting a bicycle, start in the city center and head towards the waterfront along the Avenida de Cabo Verde. Pedal along the riverside until you reach the foot of the hill leading up to Miradouro de Santa Luzia. There are bike paths that will take you to the base of the viewpoint. Once you reach the trailhead, you will need to lock up your bike and walk the remaining distance to the top.
