Getting There

  • Car

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Water Park, start by heading west on Yawgoo Valley Rd. Continue onto Main St, then turn right onto RI-138 E. Follow RI-138 E for about 6 miles. Take the exit toward Jamestown from RI-138 E. Merge onto the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue on North Rd, then take a left onto Fort Wetherill Rd. Clingstone will be on your left after about 1.5 miles. Note that parking is limited, so plan accordingly.

    To reach Clingstone via public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #14 from the nearest bus stop at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area. Ride the bus towards Newport and transfer at the Newport Gateway Center to bus #60 toward Jamestown. Get off at the stop for Fort Wetherill Rd.
