Getting There

Car
Start in the center of Cyangugu. Head southeast on Avenue de l’Indépendance towards Rue de l’Eglise. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Turn right onto the road leading to Gisuma. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a left turn onto GX22 road. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Nyarushishi Memorial on your left. Parking is available nearby.

From the center of Cyangugu, locate the bus station. Take a minibus heading towards Gisuma. The fare is approximately 500 Rwandan Francs. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
