The journey from the main entrance to the headquarters should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

For those using public transportation, take a moto-taxi or a local bus from the main entrance of Volcanoes National Park to Ruhengeri town. You will find numerous moto-taxis waiting outside the park.
