    From Folly Beach, head northwest on Folly Rd towards the traffic circle. Take the 2nd exit at the traffic circle onto Folly Rd. Continue on Folly Rd for about 10 miles. You will reach a roundabout where you will take the 2nd exit onto SC-30 W. Follow SC-30 W, which will merge into US-17 N. Stay on US-17 N for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit towards East Bay St. Merge onto East Bay St and continue until you reach Concord St. Turn left onto Concord St and you will find the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center at 340 Concord St.

    From Folly Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop along Folly Rd. Board the CARTA Bus Route 30 (Folly Beach to Charleston) which will take you to downtown Charleston. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Calhoun St and Meeting St. From there, transfer to the CARTA Bus Route 11 (Meeting St to East Bay St). Ride this bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of East Bay St and Concord St. Walk a short distance to the east along Concord St to find the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center at 340 Concord St.
