If you are starting from downtown Custer, head south on 6th Street towards the intersection with US-16A. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with US-16A. Turn left onto US-16A. The Peter Norbeck Outdoor Education Center will be on your left after approximately 0.7 miles. Look for the large sign indicating the center, as it is directly off the road.
