Train
From Bilbao, go to the Abando train station (Estación de Abando) located in the city center. You can reach the station by walking or taking the metro to the Abando stop. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the train heading to Gernika (Gernika-Lumo). The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gernika station, exit the station and look for the bus stop outside.

At Gernika station, board the Bizkaibus line A3518 towards Bermeo. This bus service will take you directly into the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.
