    From the center of Ella, head towards the Ella Railway Station. As you walk down the main street (Passara Rd), you will see signs for the station. Once you reach the station, exit the area and continue walking straight. You will soon come across the Wellawaya-Ella-Kumbalwela Highway (A5). Turn right onto this highway, and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and beautiful scenery along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the Ravana (Raawana) Ella Wildlife Sanctuary. The entrance will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ella. Start from the main street and head towards the Ella Railway Station. Continue down Passara Rd until you reach the Wellawaya-Ella-Kumbalwela Highway (A5). Turn right onto the A5 highway and cycle for about 3 kilometers. The scenic ride will take you past lush landscapes. Look for the entrance to the Ravana (Raawana) Ella Wildlife Sanctuary on your left.
