Car
If you're driving from Hambantota, head east on the A2 highway. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the turn-off for Rekawa. Turn left onto the Rekawa Road (also known as Rekawa Lagoon Road). Follow this road for approximately 6 km until you reach the lagoon area. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Rekawa Lagoon. There is usually ample parking available at the site.

Start your journey at the main bus station in Hambantota. Look for a bus heading towards Tangalle, which is a common route. Ensure to inform the conductor that you want to get off at Rekawa.
