From Matara, head to the Matara Bus Station located in the city center. Look for buses heading towards Tangalle, which are frequent throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Tangalle Bus Station, exit the bus and walk towards the main road (A2).

After exiting the bus, turn left onto the A2 road and continue walking south for about 1 kilometer. You’ll pass by local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Tangalle Beach. Follow the road until you reach a junction, and take a right turn. Continue straight for about 500 meters; you will see the beach entrance on your left.
