If you are driving, take the Ohiya Road which leads into Horton Plains National Park. The Visitor Information Center is located directly along Ohiya Road. Look for signs indicating the Visitor Center as you approach; it will be on your left side. There is parking available at the center. Note that entry to the park requires a ticket, which costs approximately LKR 2,000 for foreign adults and LKR 1,000 for local adults.

To reach the Horton Plains Visitor Information Center via public transport, first take a bus from Nuwara Eliya to the town of Ohiya. Buses run regularly and the fare is around LKR 50-100.
