Getting There

    From the Horton Plains National Park entrance, start at the main visitor center. Follow the main trail into the park, which is well-marked and takes you through beautiful scenery. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the trail. Take the left path that leads toward the 'World's End' viewpoint. Continue along this trail for about 1 kilometer until you reach a sign that indicates the direction of the Devil's Staircase Waterfall. It's a short detour off the main path, and the trail is moderately challenging with some uneven terrain.

    If you are driving or using a taxi, head towards Kalupahana - Ohiya Road. From the Horton Plains entrance, take the road leading to the Ohiya railway station. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Devil's Staircase Waterfall on your left. There is limited parking available along the roadside. Make sure to park safely and continue on foot from there, as the waterfall is about 500 meters from the road. Follow the clear path leading to the waterfall.
