    Start from the Kandy Clock Tower, a central landmark in Kandy. Head east on Dalada Vidiya towards the Kandy Lake. Continue along the lake until you reach the junction with Peradeniya Road. Turn right onto Peradeniya Road (A1). After approximately 1 km, you will see the Kandy Railway Station on your left. Continue straight, as you will be heading towards the town of Mahiyanganaya. Keep walking for about 5 km until you reach the junction with the Mahiyanganaya road (B10). Here, you can ask locals for further directions to Mahiyangana Sthupa, which is situated on Maluwa Road in the Mahiyanganaya area.
