Car
From Matale, take the A9 highway north towards Dambulla. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit onto the A6 road towards Habarana. Continue on the A6 for approximately 35 kilometers, then turn left onto the road leading to Wasgamuwa National Park, which is well-marked. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the park entrance at QW3C+78R, Nuwaragala. Make sure to check for any tolls along the A9 highway.

Public Transportation
From Matale bus station, take a bus heading towards Dambulla. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you reach Dambulla, transfer to a bus that goes to Habarana. After reaching Habarana, you can either take a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to Wasgamuwa National Park. The park entrance is about 10 kilometers from Habarana. Be prepared for a fare of around 1500 LKR for the tuk-tuk ride.

If you prefer a more direct route and convenience, you can hire a taxi from Matale directly to Wasgamuwa National Park. This option allows for comfort and flexibility in your schedule.
