If you're driving, head towards Bund Rd in Polonnaruwa. From the Polonnaruwa New Town center, take the main road leading towards the east. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Bund Rd. Turn left onto Bund Rd, and the Statue of King Parakramabahu will be on your right side shortly after the turn, visible from the road.

To reach the Statue of King Parakramabahu by public transport, catch a local bus from the main bus station in Polonnaruwa. Look for buses heading towards New Town or Bund Rd. Inform the driver of your destination. After about a 10-15 minute ride, disembark at the Bund Rd stop. From there, walk towards the direction of the statue; it should be visible a short walk ahead on your right.

If you are already in New Town and prefer to walk, start from the main square in Polonnaruwa. Head east along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you reach Bund Rd. Turn left onto Bund Rd, and walk approximately 200 meters; the Statue of King Parakramabahu will be on your right.
