Car
If you are driving, start from the Minneriya National Park entrance. Head southeast on the A11 road towards Habarana. Continue for approximately 12 km until you reach the town of Habarana. From Habarana, take the B308 road towards Gal Oya. After about 22 km, turn left onto the road leading to Victoria Randenigala Rantembe Sanctuary. Follow the signs for approximately 8 km until you reach the sanctuary's entrance. Please note that you may need to pay a small entrance fee for the sanctuary, which is usually around LKR 1000.

To reach Victoria Randenigala Rantembe Sanctuary using public transportation, first take a bus from Minneriya to Habarana. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Habarana, look for a local bus or tuk-tuk that can take you towards Gal Oya. You may need to negotiate a fare for the tuk-tuk, which should be around LKR 1500 to LKR 2000 for the ride to the sanctuary. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Victoria Randenigala Rantembe Sanctuary.
