From Minneriya National Park, head south on the A1 highway towards Habarana. Continue on the A1 for approximately 20 km until you reach Habarana junction. At Habarana junction, take the A12 road heading towards Polonnaruwa. After about 15 km, look for the sign indicating the turn to Wasgamuwa National Park and follow the road for another 30 km. You will arrive at Wasgamuwa National Park, located at QW3C+78R, Nuwaragala. Ensure you have your entry fees ready, which is approximately LKR 2000 for foreign adults.

To reach Wasgamuwa National Park from Minneriya National Park via public transport, first, take a bus from the nearest bus stop in Habarana.
