    From the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, head south on the A1 road towards Kegalle. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto the Karandupona-Rambukkna Road. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach The Elephant Freedom Project, which will be on your left. Make sure to keep an eye out for the sign indicating the project.

    From the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, walk to the nearest bus stop located just outside the entrance. Catch a bus heading towards Kegalle. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Hiriwadunna stop. From there, you can either walk approximately 1 kilometer along the Karandupona-Rambukkna Road or hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to The Elephant Freedom Project, which is located at 7.267131, 80.3806184.
